I downloaded Avast about a week ago and after doing so, I was not able to watch videos on the internet.  I use Firefox and Explorer.  When I disable Avast, I can watch videos on youtube and Hulu, but still cannot see vids on yahoo.  On yahoo, when I click on the videos, they act like they want to play, but either don't start, or are so choppy that it is not worth it. How can I fix this?  Also, are there some other free antivirus protection programs that are just as good that I can try?  Is there a way to change some setting in Avast to make it work better so I don't have to disable it to watch Hulu and youtube?

If you suspect that Avast is the problem...uninstall Avast and try Microsoft Security Essentials .
