Seems like either at the end of last year or like Jan. of this year my laptop, hp g6 windows 7 prem. with amd processor and onboard graphics 4 gb ram, avg free, superantispyware, malwarbytes, was updated and windows live mail and IE quit working. I restored and went along my merry way. I would update a few months later in hopes that the problem would be fixed but each time I end up restoring. I am getting a bit tired of this. I found that the 2 updates most commonly linked to this problem are not on my computer unless buried inside another one. Also firefox won't work either. Chrome is the only browser that will work after the update. Does anyone have an idea what I might be able to do? Thanks.
