Guys, Can an overclocked FX 6300 power HD 7950 in CFX? without bottlenecking is what I'm asking

I think it would be ok. FX 6300 is a awesome CPU, especially overclocked, but I would go more towards getting a 8 core Bulldozer for optimal performance if you are worried. Worth the extra little bit of money to be honest. BUT, FX 6300 would be fine. Keep in mind it may depend on what games you are trying to play as well.

As indicated, the 6300 will work.  An eight core CPU would be better, but it should be a marginal increase in performance with games.  Games are usually more GPU bound.

Mainly Bf3 multi-player,and lil bit of Cry3, thanks for replies y'all, I'm aiming  at approx 4.8ghz OC
