2222222222222222 virus?

my sister has just given me her laptop to look at. When i try to put the password in this happens 2222222222222222222

i have got it in safe mode just now trying to find out whats causing it but i am getting no where, It is not the 2 button that's jammed as i tried that first. Anybody come accross this before ?

The laptop is a Medion akoya running 7 its not just the password this happens , it happens when i open up search, notebook or even google

A key doesn't have to be physically stuck to be "firing" - any kind of non-sticky liquid can cause it.

Have you tried an external keyboard?

Given some time to dry, this may clear up by itself.  Is it still happening?
