HELP WITH WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER

Im trying to put gifs into windows movie maker (not live) and when i put it in it only shows up as a single picture no matter the time i set. PLEASE HELP! (Movie Maker 2012 Windows 7)

The current version of Movie Maker is 2.2, you may want to download/install it.

 

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/movie-maker , do not install Silverlight, not necessary to download the file.

Ive already tried that, and i already had the updated version, but still cant add gifs. :(
