The computer keeps on locking up.I tried ctrl alt del and nothing happened. I tried clicking the mouse. Nothing.

I haven't made any major changes at all. No huge programs.

I turned off the computer, and tried safe mode. There is no antivirus (besides Windows Defender) so I tried to install Avira but since it's safe mode Windows Installer service doesn't work.

I turned off the computer, put in an Linux live usb and I'm scanned the computer via Comodo. Nothing found.

I'm kinda freaking out because when my dad comes home in a few hours he's gonna be pissed.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know.

Thank you.

Win 7 64 bit SP1
