Just updated to Windows 8 with a free trial of Kaspersky Virus Program.  My question is...do I also need to install Malware Bytes?
Thanks.

Edit: Moved topic from Windows 8 to the more appropriate forum. ~ Animal

You ask a question we get here often. We have a dedicated pinned topic you might find helpful: Answers to common security questions - Best Practices.

All is valuable information, however post #4 addresses your Malwarebytes question and why you should add it to your arsenal.

Keep in mind that Windows 8 integrates a more robust version of Windows Defender for its anti-virus software which provides the same level of protection as Microsoft Security Essentials. Therefore, if you want to use another anti-virus you must disable Windows 8 Defender before installing a different antivirus software.

There is a note about this in the link provided by Animal under the title "Choosing an Anti-Virus Program".
