Graphics card upgrade how too

Hi was wanting to know what kind of graphics card a need for my packard bell istart 1369
Name - Microsoft Basic Display Adapter

OS Version: Microsoft Windows 8, 32 bit
Processor: Intel® Celeron® D CPU 3.33GHz, x64 Family 15 Model 6 Stepping 4
Processor Count: 1
RAM: 1983 Mb
Graphics Card: Microsoft Basic Display Adapter
Hard Drives: C: Total - 71296 MB, Free - 38995 MB; E: Total - 77908 MB, Free - 14240 MB;
Motherboard: PACKARD BELL BV,
Antivirus: AVG AntiVirus Free Edition 2013, Updated and Enabled


mostly editing some paper work in office was trying to install to monitors



I went and got an RADEON HD 5450 at pc world the guy said it should work, but it doesent seem to when i installed it and turned on the computer all the computer did was make a clicking noise and the noise was coming from cd player
