On 13 Aug got infected with dirtydecrypt virus. I noticed some files got damaged. I have HitmanPro so no problem it deleted it i guess... but the day after, I "think" more files got damaged after the virus was removed! So how to be sure that it is completely out? followed some manual removal guides but no luck finding such files of the virus, since then i use my computer in safe mode.

Another thing: some files were OK so i put all of them in a zipped folder and uploaded it to skydrive i did this in safe mode. the question is if i download them again after formatting and re installing the OS is there a chance that ill get infected all over again? can i use an external hard drive instead of uploading all undamaged data?

All i want to know if my computer is still infected, and the best way to get the survived data on the same computer again after re installing the OS.

OS= windows 7 64x

i didn't run dds on safe mode, on normal one. And i noticed this "atieclxx.exe" in the processes.
