System Restore

running WinXP home sp2
My system restore won't open. When I click on it I get the msg "System Restore Application has encountered a problem and needs to close" Occasionally the msg says "Run a DLL as an App has encountered a problem and needs to close"
any suggestions for my problem?

May I ask why you are trying to run system restore? What sort of problems are you having? This might shed some light on the issue's cause.

Currently home chillin' with the fam and my two dogs!
