Hi :) I am having problems with memory on my laptop it has a 58GB memory and it is saying that it has all been used up but i only had 2 GB of music and 500MB of pictures which i have now moved onto a flash drive but it is still saying that i only have 6GB free.. I used the program Wizztree to see what files are taking the space up and it seems like its windows files in particular winsxs folder i know you cant delete or moth anything from this as it keeps windows working but this is ridicolus as its using up all of my memory. Cn anyone sugggest anything i can do to fix this and get more space? Thanks so much to anyone that replys it's very much appreaciated.

I don't think that 24GB is unusual for a Windows Win 7 folder on a 60GB partition.  But...I've been wrong before :).

FWIW:  Mine is 15GB but I have very few app[lications installed (less than 10).

Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.

Checkmark the following checkboxes:

List last 10 Event Viewer log

  List Installed Programs

List Users, Partitions and Memory size.

Click Go and paste the content into your next post.

Also...please Publish a Snapshot using Speccy - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic323892.html/page__p__1797792#entry1797792 , taking care to post the link.

You can try the third partition software to free more space. Go to Google to find a suitable one.
