Hola! Someone please help asap, i fear that if it is a worm then there is only a short time that i have before it disappears off the radar, and root kit revealer will not be able to pick it up. I admit i was stupid on the account of clicking something i shouldn't have.

I've lost control of my ip host(s). Hoster only refreshes my original hosts for a little bit before being switched to a large amount of ad-sites. One of the prominent sites was as.adwave.com and it had beside it host 127.---etc beside it. I think that is the site that's at the root of this problem. Either way, i've got tons of pop ups, and a blocking of my ability to do anything in my task manager as far as ending a process.

Here is my hijack this report--someone please help.

Hi

Please Download MsnVirRem.exe to your desktop from one of the following mirrors.
  • First close any other programs you have running as this will require a reboot
  • Double click MsnVirRem.exe to run it
  • Once open, click the button labelled "Search and Destroy"
<<Your computer will now be scanned for Infected Files>>
  • When scanning is finished you will be prompted to reboot only if infected, Click OK
  • Now click the "REBOOT" Button.
  • After the Reboot, you WILL receive file not found errors (usually 4) please acknowledge them and continue.
  • A Message should popup from MsnVirRem if not, double click the program again and it will finish
Please Post the contents of C:\msnvirrem.log along with a fresh HijackThis log

Please download Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to your desktop.
  • Close all windows before continuing.
  • Double-click Look2Me-Destroyer.exe to run it.
  • Put a check next to Run this program as a task.
  • You will receive a message saying Look2Me-Destroyer will close and re-open in approximately 1 minute. Click OK
  • When Look2Me-Destroyer re-opens, click the Scan for L2M button, your desktop icons will disappear, this is normal.
  • Once it's done scanning, click the Remove L2M button.
  • You will receive a Done Scanning message, click OK.
  • When completed, you will receive this message: Done removing infected files! Look2Me-Destroyer will now shutdown your computer, click OK.
  • Your computer will then shutdown.
  • Turn your computer back on.
  • Please post the contents of Look2Me-Destroyer.txt (it can be found wherever you saved Look2Me-Destroyer.exe) and a new HiJackThis log.
If Look2Me-Destroyer does not reopen automatically, reboot and try again.
