Hi Guys,

Sticking some machines together from old parts but have an annoying problem. The ethernet adapter on the motherboard doesn't recognize the drivers/ the drivers don't recognize the ethernet adapter on this one machine. The mobo is AsRock G41M-VS. The inf, audio and vga drivers all worked fine (win 7 32 install), but for some damned reason I can't the lan to go. The system is recognizing the existence of the port, but I get no connection light when plugging in to my network and it seems maybe faulty. I get a standard code 28 error from Windows (no driver etc.)

Anyone got any ideas?

Don't worry... Just figured out it is a ver. 2 mobo with Atheros rather Realtek adapter.

Thanks anyway...

I thought that Atheros supply only WLAN drivers, while Realtek supplies only LAN drivers...guess I'm wrong.
