Hello,

When I start my computer running Windows 7 a blank white screen comes up. This seems like malware to me. Please help! How do I rid my computer of this?

Does the blank white screen come up as soon as you turn on the computer or are you able to get into safe mode or anything of that sort?

I can get to safemode but it immediately logs off and shuts the computer off whenever I login with safemode. When I log in normally it goes right to a white screen after the password screen. I can ctrl-alt-del and select restart, then quickly open a windows explorer window and click cancel when it asks me if I want to shut down the program before restarting. Sometimes that allows me to then use the computer without the white screen, but I have to have networking shut off else the white screen reappears.
