:welcome:  to the Bleeping Computer forum.

Your issue could be caused by either a software issue (ie malware )or a hardware failure (ie bad HDD ). There is a special section here to taken care malware infections but we should first make sure your hardware parts especially the hard drive is okay. Please follow the below steps.

:step1: Rescue your data to an external medium.

You can use a small sized live Linux distro like Puppy to boot the system and copy all data to an external USB drive.

 1. Download Puppy from the below link.

     http://ftp.nluug.nl/ftp/pub/os/Linux/distr/puppylinux/puppy-5.6/slacko-5.6-PAE.iso

2. Burn the ISO to a blank CD using Imgburn.

    http://download.imgburn.com/SetupImgBurn_2.5.8.0.exe

3. Boot from the CD and you will be able to copy all the data.

    http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/topic/274691-use-puppy-linux-live-cd-to-recover-your-data/

:step2: Test the hard drive.

Please post brad name of the hard drive in next reply and i will provide you the download link for official diagnostic tool. If it is a laptop or branded PC, specify it's model number also.

Hi

Unfortunately that means there are bad sectors on the hard drive. Rescue your data using Puppy and replace the hard drive as soon as possible.
