Hi, like some other fellow users I have been experiencing problems when accessing files from "My Documents" within MS Office applications. For example I cannot use "save as" or open documents in folders within "My documents" from within MS Word.

I now see that these symptoms are documented in KB Article 918165 (http://support.microsoft.com)?kbid=918165). There is also a suggested resolution in the KB article - however I'm not too keen on editing my registry.

After working through last night I'm feeling rather shell shocked (pardon the pun) and can't quite figure out from Quiteman's response to another post (apologies Quietman - it's lack of sleep rather than the clarity of your post ) about how the fix to this will be deployed. Will I be able to download it on Tuesday 25 April?

I'm just recovering from a trojan zlob and am feeling kind of delicate at the moment. Many thanks for your help.

For customers who have already applied the update and are experiencing the problem related to the older Hewlett Packard Share-to-Web software, or older NVIDIA drivers prior to or including version 61.94, the revised update will be available through Windows Update and Microsoft Update. The targeted re-release will be automatically delivered to affected computers through Automatic Update if it has been enabled The re-release will not be distributed to non-affected computers.

You will get it if you have Auto enabled.
