well a month or so ago ramnit infected my computer. what do i do ?

programs i have: bitdefender (paid) (not installed yet)

                            malware bytes free

                            eset free

any other free programs you experts recommend

OR:

i could format my pc (i have a special backup folder with media files)

but i have some questions:

  1. will my 500gb usb2 flash drive (which has a OS on it) get infected if i try to transfer a 50+gb file (it has a origin game install file in it aswell) ?
  2. would it be better/easier ?

  • i will only consider this if :
  1. disinfection is not possible/efficient
  2. disinfection fails
