I got scammed now they put a password on and I cant get passed it any ideas how to remove it?

Was this like a we want money to release your computer?
Did they have some type of name for example FBI,E-Crime lab etc...

If it's a syskey password, you're screwed. You have to reinstall Windows.

It will look like the image below and it appears before the you log into Windows.

I did find the following when looking for where I had uploaded my damn syskey image.

Syskey Decoder Cain & Abel User Manual

You'll need to plug the drive into another computer so you can load the SAM hive.
