I just got a new Lenovo S400 Touch with Windows 8. Everytime I try to run Chrome and synch it with my Google account (bookmarks, apps, extensions) it crashes. Can anybody help me?

I am still learning how to use Windows 8 - I've only had the PC for a day.

Thanks!

Oops - sorry! I figured out that I had to "Trust" the computer (verify my Microsoft account). Everything is working now!

:) No problem.

I don't know if this information should be pinned in the forum or not, but when I Googled this issue, I noticed that a lot of other people had the same problem. Perhaps it could be solved the same way?

I actually never got an error message, it would just crash as soon as the first plug-in started to sync. Then, as I was playing around with the Windows 8 interface, I noticed a message somewhere in PC Settings that said that no bookmarks, preferences, etc. would sync until I "trusted" the PC. Basically, that meant verifying my Microsoft account. Once I did that, the bookmarks/plugins/apps in Chrome synched to my account and it stopped crashing.
