I recently accidentally reset the ASUS compatible wifi device. Now its open to the public & I want to set up a network name & password for it. The ASUS website says to plug it into your PC & it will launch a website to set up the device. I think I'm supposed to have the product CD (which I lost). When I've set up other routers in the past I just typed in a web address like: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. I tried those and : 192.168.1.220 & 192.168.0.220 with no love. :-(

I have the ASUS WL-330N plugged into a router & I'm using the wifi access point to get on the net currently.

Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks!

Found the answer: do ipconfig /all ,then the "default gateway" is the IP address to type into your browser. Worked like a charm!
