flickering screen, blue screen ?

got screen fiickering, lines, hung-up yesterday; then, got same screen fiickering, then blue screen ; restsored system to before windows 7 update of 08./11/2013, system running good since ?  swithced to different monitor, didn't help;  thanks

IMO...that doesn't make sense.


The apparent video problems would indicate a hardware problem of some sort...which should be totally unaffected by any reversion to an earlier restore.  Video driver updates are not critical updates...users have to elect to install those, so the idea of a bad driver being installed by Windows Update...seems to fall flat.


Please download MiniToolBox  , save it to your desktop and run it.


Checkmark the following checkboxes:

  List last 10 Event Viewer log

  List Installed Programs

  List Users, Partitions and Memory size.


Click Go and paste the content into your next post.
