My Acer Laptop Wont Boot Properly ?

I went to work yesterday and i turned off my laptop and when i got home it wouldnt turn on anymore ?? ?! ?!?

I havent made any changes and it has a password so no one can access the main profile (Administer)



My Acer Aspire 5349 Wont boot it keeps saying  --

Check cable connection!

No bootable device -- Insert Boot disk and press any key

Please check the BIOS by pressing the right function or key on early boot up and see if your hard drive is recognized. See also if your time and date is correct. See also the link video below
