I am going crazy with my daughters laptop. SHe has a Dell 3520 with Windows 8.
I can't stand this Windows 8, it's making a frustrating problem even more aggravating!!!!!

Anyway, I can not get her laptop to connect to the internet.  I made sure the wireless antenna is on, but the strange thing is it will not allow me to click on the internet connection icon3cc188ef-4806-4847-96e3-be9fe02b7535_92.   where you select your connection. If I left click nothing happens, if I right click it opens up troubleshooting but then that just tries to find the problem by connecting to the internet that it is not connecting to

A VICIOUS CYCLE AAARRRRRRGHHHHHHH!

I also tried going in through the control panel and I can left click on everything and anything except "Connect to a network"

anybody have any clue whatsoever what my problem may be???????

*edit- another side note, I just noticed that the volume icon is doing the same thing as the connections icon. I can not click it and change the volume
