Hi, You go to Dell, This link should work, http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/Product/inspiron-570

Select the proper Windows and 64bit.

Download the drivers on another computer, Save them to a flash drive and install them from there.

Good Luck

Roger

so i downloaded both the network drivers that your page showed, put them on a flash drive, and installed on my other computer. then i restarted the computer and still has same message "windows did not detect a properly installed network adapter. if you have a network adapter you will need to reinstall the driver."

Did You install both the Wireless and the Wired network adapters?

When You go to the device manager what shows?

Right Click on Computer in the start menu and select properties, then look on the left side for device manager.

Try going here and follow this for any unidentified drivers.

http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/96442-device-manager-finding-unknown-devices.html

Also click on the Network Adapters to expand it and see what shows.

I have attached a image showing this computer. Yours may look a little different as this is Windows 8 but it should be very similar.

Good Luck

Roger

Try going through the unknown devices link I posted previously.

Just to be sure When you install the Dell drivers you are running the program and letting it do the install?

When run it should extract to a dell drivers directory with the name of the R file and then install the drivers.

Also did you try right clicking on the R290807.EXE and choosing run as administrator/

Look in C: for a Dell directory, then in there look for a directory named drivers then one named R290807 see if the driver files are in there, if so try a manual install.

Luck

Roger

Dell drivers are usually very easy to install.
