Hi, I use no script from http://noscript.net/ in Firefox. At the bottom of the Firefox screen you should see a toolbar with a options button, I usually choose "temporarily allow all on this page" for sites where it is needed. Also Available on the same line as the Home button you should see a button with a S with a small circle with a red bar in it. Choose that instead if you want. I prefer the safety it gives.

Try that and see how that works for you.

Good Luck

Roger

Why You don't need Java
W3Techs usage statistics and market share data of Java on the web

If you're going to use JAVA, many security researchers and computer security organizations caution users to limit their usage:

Disabling Java Plug-ins or add-ons in common web browsers
