Hey guys.

Unsure if this should go here but as I'm not talking about Avast and more of scan results I think it's the best place for this question.

I did a full scan on my PC with Avast, and it took around an hour which is normal on my system. Anyway It came back with no malware/virus found but it did say "The system cannot find the path specified (3) on about 20+ files.

All of the files have exactly the same file location which is as follows;

C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\Avast\defs\13050900\(then the name of what it can't find)

However I have looked into this and it said if the internet cut out while install an update of avast it can sometimes do this. I have looked for the file '13050900' but i could not find it.

Any ideas?

(here are some of the files it cannot find)

aswRawFS.dll

aswBoot.dll

ArPot.dll

uiext.dll

Sf.bin

etc...

Craig

Hello, have you recently removed malware?

Okay Boopme I will do that, also i noticed something. Avast did a scan as soon as I Installed it then I Upgraded to a 15 day trial on premium and it reinstalled things and this time when it scanned it came up saying it couldn't find the path for those files. But if I scanned a second time it would come up saying they're fine. So maybe it's due to the me upgrading to the trial ?

Thanks for the help

Craig

That's a possibility Craig.
If you havn't lately reboot the machine, this will reset the registry and flush memory.
