i need help i install a start menu on my windows8 i cant remember what it was call i got form here it looks like a shell but now i dont have my tiles window

Move your mouse cursor to the top right corner of the Desktop and the Charms bar should slide out. When it does, click the icon that looks like the Windows logo.

Even easier, click on the Windows logo key on your keyboard.

If you're running Start8, that only brings up the old Windows 7 type menu on the Windows 8 Desktop. :(

 

However, I just discovered that the right WindowsKey will take you back to the Windows 8 swinging tiles (Metro) screen. Thanks dc3. :)
