Read speed of 2.61 Mbps or higher.
Write speed of 4.34 Mbps or higher.
USB stick must be a SLC and not a MLC.

Everything I can find with Imation and PB1 and Flash Drive all say they are only 4GB not 8GB. So I'm a bit leery of saying I found the information. This was the only place I could find your read and write speeds.

http://usbspeed.nirsoft.net/?pdesc=Imation+ImationFlashDriv+USB+Device&vname=Imation+Corp.&vid=1816&pid=1102

Note the only line at the top with PB1 is a 4GB

But all the read and write speeds are within your listed parameters. So 'I think' you're good.

You're quite welcome. I just wish I could have found corroborating information or more sources to feel more confident in my assessment.

Generally, I'd suggest contacting Samsung support to clarify the issue. It's difficult to believe that the hardware requirements are so stringent that almost any generic pendrive wouldn't work. If you tried a non-compatible drive, I would think the worst case scenario would be that it couldn't be read. Try some $7 Walmart drive and see what happens.
