So, I had a zero access virus on my computer which caused weird commercials, music and other noise to play through my speakers at all times....I managed to remove the virus thanks to the brains of this forums other members :) Thank you btw!! However, now my speakers/sound do not work at all. I have tried removing all software and restarting. I have tried remove and reloading the drivers for the on board sound card as well....that is the extent of my "how to fix" knowledge concerning this :) Any ideas or suggestions?? I don't even have a speaker icon on my desktop toolbar anymore. If you go to control panel and try to click sound, nothing happens...nothing at all :( Would really appreciate any help!!
