A month or so ago I was just curious as to how many bad web sites are actually in that Hosts file.
It was quickly apparent that scrolling down through the file and counting the lines was just NOT going to work.

I entered the file into Excell and came up with over 11,000 lines.
That's a lot of bad web sites!

For the average adult user, a hosts file probably isn't a really big deal.
But, for any computer that's going to be operated by a 'young' person, it should be a "Must Have".

I'm single and live alone, but I still use the Custom Hosts File from Mike Burgess.
I just don't want to be bothered by ad boxes and popups, wanting to sell me something or install something on my PC.

It just feels so good to "Stay Safe".

Y'all have a great day now, Y'hear?

The Shadow
