Mod Edit: This will be moved to a more appropriate Forum.

Ok, well I am sorry to say that that can not be done.
Once you reply to a pinned topic, it stays on top.
You see a pinned topic stays on top always, that is why it has been pinned.
So it never gets buried. It happens to all of us, as far as I know.

Are you saying that you would like to have notification of additional posts to these threads stopped being sent to you? I know it is an option at a couple of other site, perhaps not here.

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.

I responded to a word game and now i don't want to play any more. I would like to stop receiving emails about the topic and i would like it removed from my topics list. This is not possible?

Hi beakerr,

At the top of any forum page click on My Controls.

On the left side of page scroll down to Subscriptions and click on View Topics or View Forums depending on which you choose to modify.
Choose topics for individual threads, or forums for the complete titled forum.

You will then see a listing of all topics/forums that you've subscribed to.

On the right side of the page you will see a little box. Click in that box to set a check. Then scroll to the bottom of the page to the drop down box that says Unsubscribe. There are several options there that you may select. After making your selection, click on the box that says with selected.

Viola! The changes should be in effect immediately.
The only easy day was yesterday.
