Is there anywhere I can get a Windows XP Home Edition disc so that I can reformat a desktop for my dad and reinstall it. I'm not asking for cracked software I know where to get plenty of that. I have the Key on the sticker thats on the side of the desktop to get it activated I just need the disc as he cant find the xp home disc that came with his emachine desktop. Thanks!!

Unfortunately not. You can buy it but be careful. Buyer beware.

If there is no recovery partition on the system's hard drive, the standard suggestion is to find someone who can loan you a suitable Windows installation disc. There's no problem with re-loading a licensed installation of Windows using someone else's install media, it's just making copies (cracked or not) that creates difficulty with copyright.
