Hi -

Has the program fully finished and did you Reboot after running sfc /scannow ?

The program should only take 15 to 20 minutes at the most, and reboot to normal screen after completion.

Did you Force a Shutdown at any stage in the check, or has it just Stalled ?

Thank You -

Odd -

You normally click the start ORB type CMD into the box just above it and press Enter to open the selection.

But did you Right click on CMD it and select Run as Administrator ?
