Hello again. I'm making this because I don't like idling too long when it concerns my computer.

As part of my continued attempts at restoring functionality to my computer, I have been doing some digging, and I may have solved my Flash BSOD issue by auto-uninstalling Flash, manually removing all Flash folders and renaming NPSWF32.dll (Shockwave Flash ver., located in C:\Windows\SysWOW64) to NPSWF32.dll.old.

Now I'm focusing on repairing the damage done by a few rootkits found prior to this thread. While waiting for instructions in virus removal, I decided to do some digging, and got Firefox to stop using the outdated version. However, I would like to have afs.sys back, as I believe it's part of the reason I have been BSOD'ing. I also need Windows Defender back, as it appears to be... missing:

Windows Defender
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.  (Error Code: 0x80070422)
