Hi guys, as outlined in my post here my system has become very unstable. Every time  boot many of the tools that load up on boot are crashing immediately after I logon. Standard software such as Firefox, IE, Windows Media player and other media players all crash as soon as I start them. firefox works in safe mode, but otherwise will not start.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Seeing IE10 has seemingly caused a few strange happenings....(this noted from other posts in this forum )...perhaps you may like to try rolling back IE10 to IE9.....

That's definitely not the issue, but thanks for the suggestion.

Also worth noting is that audio plays fine in media players, but not video.
