unwanted noises

Hello, when i am using my computer it will make diferent sounds: such as a cat meow, a dog barking or a squeaking door closing. i am not doing it. can you tell me how that is happening and how to stop those noises?

Lol... you don't have any kids or mischievous friends around?


So to fix it.


start>control panel>sounds and audio devices>sound tab>sound scheme drop down box = windows default sounds>apply>ok
