I have an HP Pavilion laptop with Intel I5, windows 7 home premium, with service pack 1, 4.0 GB ram, 64 bit,

I have a futures trading program from a vendor that I have been running for years that recently refuses to boot, displaying a pop up box "Trader has stopped working, Windows is checking for a solution to the problem". I have worked with the vendor and removed the program and installed a download version which worked for the duration of time that it ran but when It was closed it also refused to boot. The program is large, streaming data from the market in real time, and supports several charts and indicators. My "Windows Experience Index" score is 4.9 if that helps.

Thanks for any help
