Hello,

I have a Gateway P-6825 laptop running Windows Vista 32-bit, Service Pack 2.  The processor is T5250 1.5GHz and it has 2 GB RAM memory. I realize it's a slightly older machine and the processor is relatively slow, but it seems to have slowed down a bit in the last few months when I access Internet pages.  I am not getting any signs of malware infection but I'm wondering whether it is laden with too many programs or something else.  Any insight you can provide is truly appreciated.

Thanks!

First thing...empty your browser cache.

Then...you might reivew the info presented by Quietman at Slow Computer-browser Check Here First; It May Not Be Malware - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic87058.html .
