Hi, so here's what happened. Was going out of town for the week and having a friend house sit so I decided to change my login password and left my computer off the whole time I was gone. It's a pretty simple password that I would not forget. So I get back and boot up my pc and login typing in my new password and it worked fine. Next day I notice windows is about to install some updates and I think nothing of it. When I come back I see it restarted and now I can't login. I've tried both my old and new password and nothing seems to work. I don't have a windows vista disk because it already came installed. I don't have a password recovery disk either. I'm the only user account on my pc and it's admin. Really at a loss of what to do.... :(

Welcome to BC.

Unfortunately there is a forum rule which states "No subject matter will be allowed whose purpose is to defeat existing copyright or security measures."

Because of this I can't help you with information which would help you resolve this issue.  But it can be done, and Google is your friend. :thumbup2:
