Hey all,

I'm currently being helped by a member of the community who is doing a superb job in helping me so thank you all for making computers safer again. Thank you to Grinler for making such an amazing community.

Anyway to my question, when I was being helped I was told to use Combofix (never used it before) and I was referred to this link

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix

However when I used it my internet did the odd thing of not working even after a reboot, the pictures that were displayed to help in this situation were using Windows XP (i think) and Im running Windows 7. When trying to follow those I could not find the 'repair' option anywhere on the network settings. However I did fix it using a guide on the Microsoft Website and now its working fine. In the event that I have to run combofix again (lets hope not) Is there a way to do this 'repair' method in Windows 7?

Thank you for reading.

Craig
