Hi there,

After (actually before) some malware attacks and help from nasdaq in this thread, I got an issue in My Computer.

I can't see the "User's Documents" and "Shared Documents" under Files Stored on This Computer.

.

I looked into almost every solution given on the web and nothing seems to help.

- Windows is clean from malwares etc. See here.

- Tried these:

this workaround:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319825

(actually the same:)

TweakUI

this whole thread:

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Probably (IMO) a case of damaged files.

I would try running the sfc /scannow command.

Thanks, will do and update here later.

Although I think it's registry issue related.

What makes you say that?

Since there is a setting in the registry for showing Control Panel in My Computer, and since there is a setting for hiding someone's Documents from My Computer, it would make sense that there is something similar for that for the Documents issue.

But this is, of course, a hunch :)
