Windows 7 and programs acting strangely, can't find root cause...infection?

OK, first build, almost a year in. No problems until recently, but I cant seem to pinpoint what is the source of these problems. And they seem to be happening more frequently. Please read through this and give me your best shots. Ill be very grateful! And I was told about ComboFix, but wanted to post here and get the approval before running it

Windows 7 x64


*note that sometimes upon rebooting the computer, everything works fine (as far as I can tell)

-crashes from time to time
-once crashes, can't fix without reboot
-sometimes reboots computer upon exiting a tab
-have reinstalled twice
-turns itself off, occassionally will turn itself back on
-databases become corrupted, and won't update without being corrupted immediately
-if databases update properly, sometimes says "some protection components are corrupted. we recommend you reinstall the application"
-have reinstalled twice
-will occasionally crash, and prompt to relaunch
-sometimes relaunch will automatically lead to another crash and prompt for relaunch
-rarely relaunch will cause computer to reboot
Windows 7
-bottom right corner all of a sudden said this was an unauthorized version of windows 7
-I told it to re-register via internet and the message went away.
-only happend once
IAStorIcon has stopped working (something from Intel)
-this has popped up twice, with the following explanation:
-description: stopped working
-problem event name: appcrash
-application name: IAStorIcon.exe
-application version:
-application timestamp: 4f29d80d
-fault module name: gdiplus.dll
-fault module version: 6.1.7601.17825
-fault module timestamp: 4f9235ab
-exception code: c0000005
-exception offselt: 000c68c7
-locale ID: 1033
had a microsoft program stop responding/crash
-i wasn't able to write down what it was
-only happened once


Windows Defender Offline
-no threats detected
-via USB
Kaspersky TDSSKiller
-no rootkits detected
Kaspersky Internet Security 2013
-no threats detected
-no threats detected
-found a few cookies, nothing dangerous
-they were removed
-program was removed as requested by Kaspersky Technical Support
sfc.exe (System File Checker)
-would not run unless through cmd.exe
-after system scan, results were "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."
