Hi -

Download Security Check by Screen317 from HERE
* Save it to your Desktop.
* Double-click SecurityCheck.exe
* Follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
* A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.
Note: If a security program requests permission to access the Internet, allow it to do so.

After you post the log, can you please tell us which program you wish to uninstall -

Thank You

If you are having issues removing AVG completely after uninstalling, then Download AVG 2012 Removal Tool. http://techdows.com/2011/09/how-to-uninstall-avg-2012-from-your-computer.html

Hi -

But the question was "avg vs avast", not just remove AVG - They may want to remove Avast !
I asked for a Screen317 log in case other remains were still installed -

Thank You -
