I use Ad Block Plus.

I dunno. I just know it works. I think you will find a lot of the regulars here use it on Chrome and Firefox. And they just released their first version for IE.

Popup blocker=ad blocker.

You still see the pop up though. Therefore, it is not a pop up blocker.

Who told you that? Because Ad Block Plus blocks all ads including popups.

Tested Adblock Plus myself. http://www.popuptest.com/ proves you wrong. No offense.

Tested out Google Chrome's popup blocker. Pretty decent actually. Must of improved over the years. (I have not used it for years because I had an extension to block for me)
