If you have a used computer store near by the easiest thing would b to pikup a used PS for $10±. Instead can you use a voltmeter? Remove the side panel on the computer and test the power with a open plug. Try replacing the $4 ON/OFF. Pick one up at Radio Shack®.

Hi trvs25...welcome to BC.

When you say that your computer stopped turning on does this mean no fans or LEDs, or just a blank monitor?

Family and loved ones will always be a priority in my daily life.  You never know when one will leave you.
