when I get a video to play (say, on Facebook) and I click on the "run" icon, I get  a message that I must first install Flash Player by Adobe.

I've already installed it several times and gotten a screen stating that my install has been successful.  So how come I'm going in circles??!

Uninstall Adobe Flash Player, reboot your computer, then delete all remaining files and folders located in the following directories:
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash (if you are using a 64-bit system)
%appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player
Then download the most current version of Flash Player from here and reinstall.

If that does not resolve the problem, please refer to:
