I was just wondering If someone had a backdoor.agent would TDSSkiller, MBAM and all those sort of programs pick up on it?

Also, are there other names for a Backdoor.agent?

Thank you

Craig

Here are 2 topics from our quietman7 on the subject -  What is a Backdoor Trojan? - - - Backdoors explained

These are from Norton, but the variety of names are too many to add here.

A quote from WIKI about 3 years ago -

" In 1985, there were 11 known computer viruses.  Today, there are more than 70,000 and new threats are detected every day.  Always update your virus definitions before performing a scan. "
