I would like to get a VGA to RCA adapter for my laptop.  I know that I cannot get any ole one because the VGA port does not support direct TV out, but I do not know what the one I need is called, or if there is one.  I am seeking the specific name of such an adapter.  Thanks.

You darned better be sure your video card can output an analog signal before you throw money at that adapter cable.

What the heck, it's 5 bucks.

Yes, it would be rather unusual for a laptop to have that breakout connector for s-video/composite!

dpunisher:  Thanks.  This looks like the right thing.

Bill_Bright:  Descriptions elsewhere of the type of adapter you posted state that they require that the VGA port support direct TV out, which mine does not, hence, my post here.
