I have a Dell Latitude E6530 running Win 7 - 64-bit

I mouse left-handed

When I swap the button functions so I can use it comfortably, what you would call the left button produces a right-click submenu half the time.  It acts like it is doubleclicking sometimes as well.

This behavior is not there when I have it set up right-handed.

The dell touchpad control dialog has the right-handed button definitions, however it seems to mostly use the mouse dialog config.

Has anybody else seen this kind of behaviour?

Have you tried substituting a different mouse ?  I have changed the buttons over for left-handed pupils now and again but I have never come across this behaviour. Mice can go faulty.

That solved it!

Thanks

A new mouse seemed to do the trick.
