I have a m2n-sli deluxe motherboard phoenix technologies bios revision 1302(going to flash to new version) with a amd athlon 64 x2 6400+ cpu speed at 3.21GHz and a nvidia geforce 8500GT gpu. with 6gb of ddr2 ram.

what are my options for cpu and gpu upgrades? games are starting to run alittle slow. just downloaded warframe and it lags and is choppy on the lowest of the lowest graphic settings.

The best CPU you can upgrade to is the AMD Phenom II X4 945 but you must update the Bios to 5001 before installing the CPU. What case do you have and the power supply model? How much do you want to spend on the graphics card?

That GPU would do the job for Warframe and the card should be able to fit in your case. Something sounds dodgy about the 950W power supply, could you take a photo of it?

forgot to mention. the reason why i cant see the make or model of the PSU is because of the lip on the case. its almost right up on it
